As a Quality Control Manager, you will oversee the quality assurance and control processes to ensure that products or services meet established standards and customer requirements. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and implementing quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with various departments, such as production, procurement, and legal, as well as external vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and identifying areas for improvement. You will monitor project progress, analyze data, and report findings to stakeholders, clients, and project team members. Your goal will be to ensure that the project is completed within budget, timeline, and scope while adhering to quality standards andcustomer expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections.
  • Identify areas for improvement and address non-compliant work.
  • Prepare reports and analyze data for project progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define QC policies and procedures.
  • Travel to project sites as required and work in remote locations.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications.
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including EPA/USACE projects.
  • Proficiency in QCS, MS Office, RMS, and construction software.
  • Familiarity with USCACE RMS system.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  LICENCES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS:
  1. OSHA 30 hour (must have)
  2. OSHA 8-hour Refresher (must have)
  3. OSHA 8-hour Supervisor (must have)
  4. EM 385-1-1 (must have)
  5. 40 Hazwoper Certification (must have)
  6. Competent Person Training (applicable areas)
